- The text messages need to be translated from English into Japanese. With the new PHP software which we will upgrade to soon, you can create a wikiTextJa.php based on wikiTextEn.php and change the strings. (If possible, please encode the file as Unicode/UTF-8, as we are trying to standardize the internal coding of all the wikipedias.) See also the mailing lists wikitech-l and intlwiki-l, where the software and the non-English wikipedias are discussed. --BV

As I mentioned in my email, here are the list of article-versions that we would like you to delete, annotated with some reasons/ background info.

- Found to be partly the same as some external web page, though other version later written by others are considered to be worth keeping.

- posted on 00:59 10.21, 2003 and 23:46 10.20, 2003.. by an anonymous but regular user (who also signs with his/her unique name).
- The user and others came to agree that it potentially infringe others copyrights and should be removed, even though the previous versions written by others are considered worth keeping.
All have been listed on VfD for at least a week after the idea of version-specific deletion was raised. For the idea, some voiced supports, nobody voiced opposition.
